• Yarn: Heritage Cascade Yarns Navy – Sock Yarn 1 Skein

This was my very first Cowl. My friend Thasha lives in Sweden. She had recently started knitting around the same time as me. She and I talked about what pattern we could do together. She suggested the Tilting TARDIS pattern since we both like Dr. Who!

I thought that sounded great! I got the yarn for it at Blizzard Yarn and Fiber in Vancouver, WA on my very first visit to a yarn store. I chose the navy because I wanted a muted blue to represent the TARDIS.

The pattern was worked almost as a cable pattern. There were twists and turns that repeated over and over coming together through the whole piece.

I started it in Dec or Nov of 2014 and finished around March of 2015. I got the yarn all twisted up at one point and totally hibernated the whole project. As did Thasha in Sweden. But I got around to finishing it. I got the buttons from Michaels and attached them after it was done. I really liked this pattern.

In February 2015 my friend Brittney got me the Nerd Girls Yarn TARDIS blue colorway yarn, so I decided to make some matching gloves.
