Another First!!

So I am sure you seasoned knit-nerds out there already know ALL about Knit Picks. I however only knew the brand, I knew nothing of their online store. oh…my…GOODNESS!!!!!!!

This store has everything! As you know, I had never blocked anything until the PDX Yarn Crawl: Mystery Knit-A-Long. Of course I blocked on some towels I had in the house. WELL NO MORE!!! I purchased the Blocking Starter Tool Kit. If you haven’t got any blocking equipment I HIGHLY recommend this kit. It comes with:

My friend Katie is over working on her Campside Shawl, and she is currently about 8-9 rows away from completion. When she is done we are going to try out the new blocking tools! I will let you guys know how it goes!

I also got some awesome interchangeable cords. They are PURPLE! You will see them soon. Katie and I are planning on knitting up the Exploration Station Shawl by Stephen West, and I WILL be using my new cords.
