Have you ever gone into a yarn store and thought, “Yea! This is my kinda place!” ?

Well that is exactly what happened to me when I went into Starlight Knitting Society!

Simi told me about this yarn store that was right next to a Tattoo shop. Already that is my cup of tea (so to speak). I like tattoos! I like knitting! I like tattooed people who knit!! And then Simi showed me the bag that she got there and it had their logo on it. I 20’s pin-up style lady knitting on the moon…WHAT!! So amazing. So I went with her to this awesome little shop. Sure enough, right next to a Tattoo shop.

We went inside and there was a little fireplace that was surrounded by comfy looking chairs and beautiful displays of yarn all over!

The ladies that work there are named Melissa and Hillary. They are just the sweetest ladies! They are always there to get you anything you need, they can order just about anything you want. They also have the ability to get patterns on Ravelry for you as well.

Every Wednesday they have a Knit Night! That is the night that we meet up to work on the Beyond the Pines: Starlight Knit-A-Long. You can also work on other projects if you want to.

Knit night is absolutely great! When Simi and I started the PDX Fiber Freaks group we were looking for a place that we could meet up and Stitch and Bitch. We searched and searched and it seems that a place has found us!
